Attorney Lynda McMaken has been appointed by the City of Bainbridge Island to the city's Lodging Tax Advisory Committee, which reviews expenditures for projects promoting tourism on Bainbridge Island. McMaken is a long-time Bainbridge Island civic activist and attorney specializing in business and family law, estate planning and divorce.

The Law Offices of Lynda H. McMaken provided a financial gift to support the West Sound Wildlife Shelter on Bainbridge Island, Wash., for its Take Flight Project flight cage. This newly completed, state-of-the-art flight cage provides a spacious flying environment for rescued bald eagles, hawks, owls and other large birds to regain strength before being released back into the wild. McMaken is a long-time leader, supporter and advocate of Bainbridge Island community organizations.
